Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai to exhibit Air India’s first ever flight stimulator

Air India’s first ever flight stimulator will be on public display at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai. The Boeing 747-200 flight stimulator was first acquired by Air India in 1980. Being in service for 21 years, it has trained hundred of pilots before it landed in Nehru Science centre few years back although it will be available for public display this year.

The sophisticated cockpit will be displayed at an exclusive pavilion at the museum. The stimulator will give preview to the general public on how does a pilot feels inside the cockpit and all the electric equipments, he operates in a bid to fly a plane.
